A BIGGER and BETTER PDMEX has just happened! And Alteon3D® didn’t squander the chance to join in one of the most anticipated expos in the die and mold industry.
Held last August 23-26, 2017 at the World Trade Center in Pasay, Manila, CIM Technologies, Inc. and its service division, Alteon3D® participated in the 8th Philippine Die & Mould Machineries and Equipment Exhibition (PDMEX).
The three-day event was participated by about 500 companies from various industries namely Automation, Controls, Robotics, Machine Tools, Metal Finishing, Process engineering, Welding, Plastics, and other related industries, where the latter companies were given booths to exhibit their products/ services and an opportunity to hold free seminars.
Along with other divisions of CIM, Technologies Inc., Alteon3D® didn’t miss out the chance to showcase its services to the visitors.
3D Printing, CAD designing and Large Format Printing and Scanning were the services that Alteon3D® rolled out in the exhibit as these were more relevant and most sough-after services in the die and mold industry.
Visitors were also given brief information about the 3D printing and how it becomes an indispensable tool for prototyping.
The 3D printed samples brought came in different forms and made from different materials. Visitors were intrigued as to what materials used in bringing such ideas into a physical solid output. Our 3D printing operator gladly entertained their curious mind and oriented them about the basic details of the materials that are commonly used in 3D printing.
Meanwhile, CIM Technologies, Inc. also held a free seminar for the attendees where they learned more about Solid Edge, a 3D CAD software that is mostly used for 3D modelling and product designing. Solid Edge is one of the software heavily used by Alteon3D® specially in manufacturing/ design purposes.
